What makes a good CV/Resume?
There isn't, of course, a single correct way to write and present a Business Analyst CV/Resume but the following general rules apply:
- It is targeted on the specific job or career area (e.g. SAP Business Analyst) for which you are applying and does it highlight the relevant skills you have to offer in this specific area.
- It is carefullyand clearly laid out: logically ordered, easy to speed read and not too cramped.
- It is informative but concise. Generally speaking. A shorter CV is more useful in a professional environment. A well laid out document of 3 or 4 pages is often adequate for an initial application.
- It should be accurate in content, spelling and grammar. Double check this and preferably get someone else to read it carefully before making application.
