Project Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst / Tester (BA/Tester) with experience in the financial services industry to join our team. This hybrid role bridges business analysis and software testing, supporting the successful delivery of technology and business transformation projects. The project scope involves a processor migration where accounts are moved from one processor to the other. The role involves detailed analysis of customer care tools, transactions and accounts set up between the two processors. The resource will be responsible for maintaining a BRD (business requirements document and also helping with Test Case execution based on the BRD
US citizen with clean background (background check will be conducted)
Willingness to come to the office in McLean or Ashburn at least once per week
Required Skills:
- Business Analyst experience in the financial services industry
- Ability to manage multiple work activities simultaneously with varied scope and complexity.
- Organize, coordinate, and monitor interconnected projects from clients and the client’s vendors and partners
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and business users throughout the SDLC.
- Test the data conversion across two processors
- Design and develop testing strategy documents, test cases, test scripts and reporting documents
- Log, track, and report defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Lead testing efforts and gather and analyze requirements from clients
- Apply change, risk, and resource management principles, adhering to bank governance and combining with Leading Path guidelines
